The El Paso County Elections Department is an award-winning department in the Clerk and Recorder's Office. The department administers state and county elections, as well as helps special districts conduct elections.
Elections is a year-round job; the department works to maintain voter registration records, plan and conduct general (even-year), coordinated (odd-year), and primary elections - always with a desire to improve the process and experience for voters.
The team is led by Manager Liz Olson who has served with the Office for over 20 years.
Angie Leath is the new Director of Elections and has been with the office for almost 15 years.
Brandi Bantz is the Mail Ballot Processing Supervisor and has been working in elections for 13 years.
Brian McLellan, Senior Election Specialist, oversees counting and adjudication. Additionally, Senior Election Specialists Stacey Peacock and Michelle Stroup oversee the mail ballot processing room.
Election Specialists Rebecca Roberson and Greg Chandler oversee Voter Service and Polling Centers, election judge training, as well as Group Residential Facility visits.
Naung Moreland, Election Specialist, works with GIS and our UOCAVA voters, And Cynthia Fuller, Data Specialist, oversees escrow accounts, election reports, and data requests.
