Results from past elections are available under Archived Records.
The El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office will release initial, unofficial results at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Election Night, June 26, 2018. The results will reflect what has been counted through Monday, June 25, 2018.
The next set of results will be released at 7:30 p.m. Those result numbers will cover what has been counted through the majority of Election Day. After that, results will be updated every hour on the half hour (8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., etc.) until all the ballots have been collected and counted.
Results will be posted on the Colorado Secretary of State’s platform that is customizable, mobile device friendly, and provides viewers the option to download election night data into reports. The site will be made live starting the morning of Election Day. We will add a picture on this page with a link to the election results.
Viewers can create a favorites list for specific races by clicking the star next to the race. You can also see precinct-level turnout data, along with the overall turnout information. The site connects viewers to other county results as well, if desired, and is viewable in Spanish.
Results released on Election Night are posted as “unofficial.” This is due to military and overseas ballots that are afforded extra time for delivery after Election Day, and voters with signature or identification issues who are given time to resolve their issue. Voters in those categories have eight days after the election to resolve their issue or return their ballot.
Results are deemed “official” when the bipartisan canvass board validates the results. The last day for the canvass to be completed is Monday, July 9, 2018.
